I met Key at a writer's retreat in Santa Fe in September 2024. We connected initially on sharing a black identity, but became connected on social media and kept in touch that way. I had a nudge one day to reach out and connect virtually and I'm so glad I followed that nudge because experiencing her work was an ultimate result of this exchange. She underwent my embodied liberation session, I was guided in her wounded chiron work, and we are both much richer for the experience. I just learned last year that the birth time I have in my baby books isn't accurate, and because of a traumatic birth experience and other circumstances, I may never know the real time.
